    カクネ里とシラタケ沢の西側には破砕花崗岩が広く露出する．破砕花崗岩には顕著な剪断面がなく，破片の定方位配列がない．こうした産状は破砕花崗岩がカルデラ壁崩壊により滑動してきた巨大ブロックであることを示している．野外調査の結果，この地域では直径17kmを超える更新世前期のカルデラ火山があったことが判明した．

    中山間地域の高速道路（供用後30年以上）の沿線において，凍結防止剤の地下浸透経路や浸透範囲等を定量的に検討するために２次元浸透流－移流分散解析を実施し，解析値と観測値の対比より両者は概ね一致するかを検証した。その結果，凍結防止剤は高速道路から河川までの約300mの間を約15年かけて浸透し，観測地点での塩分濃度は上昇速度を減じながらも現在も緩やかに上昇していることが推定された。つぎに，凍結防止剤の…
