It is an easy reference guide to the writings and theories of leading management thinkers including Charles Handy, Warren Bennis, P Peter Drucker, Rosabeth Moss Kanter and Michael Porter. This new edition contains chapters on seven new gurus- Peter Senge, Gary Hamel, Michael Hammer, John Kotter, Joseph Schumpter, Robert Kaplan, Philip Kotler and Meredith Belbin. There is also a revised introduction in which the author notes the names of new, up and coming young writers/thinkers on the business school circuit who are likely to attain guru status in th e future. Each chapter provides a brief biography of its subject, plus an introduction to his or her work and a list of key books. As well as providing the new chapters, the author has updated the entries on vitually all the living gurus featured in the new edition, identifying their latest books, ideas and acitivities.
