Abstract

<jats:title>Abstract</jats:title> <jats:p>Eight, seven-, and six-coordinate manganese(II) complexes with N,N′-bis(2-pyridinylmethylene)-1,3-diaminopropan-2-ol(HL) and N,N′-bis(2-pyridinylmethylene)-1,3-diaminopropane(L′), [Mn(HL)(NO3)2]·C2H5OH, [Mn(L′)(NO3)2], [Mn(L′)(bipy)(CH3OH)](ClO4)2, [Mn(L′)(phen)](ClO4)2, and [MN2(L)(CH3COO)(phen)2](ClO4)2·H2O, have been isolated and characterized by X-ray crystallography.</jats:p>
