Abstract

Abstract
Vesicle are prepared in a two-step procedure. Firstly, water in oil (W/O) emulsion are prepared by sonication. Then water droplets contact with monolayer at the phase interface due to centrifugal and transform into vesicles. Size of vesicles is 50-200 nm and the encapsulation efficiency is 60%. The main advantage of this method is that no leakage of the chemicals to be encapsulated occurs during the preparation. Therefore, vesicles can be directly prepared in an aqueous medium different from the entrapped phase and purification of vesicles is generally not needed.
