Abstract

<jats:title>Abstract</jats:title> <jats:p>We described here a novel method for experimental estimation of hydropathy scales of amino acid by measuring Langmuir monolayer behaviors of the amino acid derivative polymers. The collapse pressure of the monolayers had a good correlation with the hydropathy scales.</jats:p>
