Abstract

<jats:title>Abstract</jats:title> <jats:p>A new series of imidazo[1,2-a]pyridin-2-one derivatives were synthesized by the reaction of 4-arylidene-2-phenyl-5(4H)-oxazolones and pyridin-2-amine under microwave irradiation in ethylene glycol. The starting materials were easily obtained and the operation was very convenient.</jats:p>
