内容説明

The book takes a novel approach to the teaching of Prolog, by presenting a series of grades examples, which are solved in Prolog. Each example introduces new Prolog concepts and illustrates how Prolog can be used to solve different types of problems. Important features include: Basic Prolog concepts; programming style; debugging techniques; database manipulation; symbolic logic and logical games; understanding natural language; writing interpreters and compilers; prototyping; expert systems; inductive learning; glossary of logic programming. Many exercises (and worked solutions) are included for self- assessment. Both authors have considerable experience in the Artificial Intelligence field and in the teaching of computer languages.
