Abstract

<jats:title>Abstract</jats:title> <jats:p>The novel catalysts of native and NiO-loaded K3Ta3Si2O13 with pillared structure consisting of three linear TaO6 chains showed luminescence and high photocatalytic activities for the decomposition of distilled water into H2 and O2 in stoichiometric amounts under UV irradiation.</jats:p>
