Abstract
<jats:title>Abstract</jats:title> <jats:p>The measurable emission color change resulting from size-dependent quenching of water-soluble CdTe quantum dots by molecular oxygen was observed experimentally. Particle size, capping ligands as well as pH is proven to govern this quenching process.</jats:p>
