Abstract

半導体技術や通信技術の進化により,三次元モデルを作成,編集,描写,伝送する需要が高まってきている.その中で,三次元物体を多角形で表示した三次元メッシュ,モデルは,エンターテイメントをはじめとして,多くの分野で用いられてきている.一般に三次元メッシュは座標情報と接続情報から成り,形状を高解像度で精密に表現できる.このような三次元メッシュにブィルタリングに代表される信号処理技術を適用する際,メッシュの非正則な接続情報が原因で複雑な処理を必要とする問題があった.本研究では非正則なメッシュを,パラメータ化を介して正則化する際に生じる頂点の配置問題について検討する.最後に結果から本研究の有効性を報告する.

Due to evolution of semiconductor and communication technology, the demand to described, create, edit, display and transmit 3D models has been increasing. The 3D mesh model which approximates real objects with polygon in has been widely used in many fields including entertainment, medical engineering, CAD/CAM and so on. Generally, 3D models consist of vertex coordinates and vertex indices. They have capability to describe precise models with high resolution. Since, in general, the 3D meshes have irregular geometric connectivity; complicated procedures are often required when applying signal processing techniques such as filtering. To address the problem, in conventional researches, irregular meshes are converted to regular ones thorough parameterization. However few researches consider a point relocation problem after the parameterization. In this paper, we deal with and the arrangement problem of vertices for regularizing the 3D meshes.
