Description

This unique approach to quantum mechanics uses elaborate computer graphics to show students quantum phenomena. It bridges the gap between classical physical and the notoriously abstract quantum physics by presenting the main ideas behind such concepts as wave mechanics by visually documenting them. In addition, the book compares experimental results with computer-drawn pictures as well as in notation. Also incorporated are end-of-chapter problems, many of which were designed to help students read the physics off the illustrations.
