内容説明
This reference work combines a logical development of statistical procedures with the presentation of methods for analyzing data from commonly-occurring experimental situations. Essential formulae are clearly displayed and each procedure is illustrated by a simple numerical example. No calculus is used. Topics include Gaussian, Binomial and Poisson distributions, hypothesis testing, linear regression, linear correlation, completely randomized experiments, contrasts for comparing linear combinations of group means, multiple comparisons, experiments using randomized block and Latin square designs, and matrix operations.
