内容説明
Magnetic separation is an exciting branch of technology with a wide potential in diverse branches of engineering and with equally exciting prospects for fundamental research. There is, however, a lack of communication between the engineer in the field who operates magnetic separators and the research scientist in the laboratory. Treating magnetic separation from both viewpoints, this book emphasizes those points of magnetic separation where lack of support in fundamental research is most evident. It is intended that the book will help develop a greater overlap between the activities of the engineer and the scientist, promote the application of basic physical phenomena in engineering practice, and gain the acceptance of the industry.
