Description
This book comprises papers presented at the International Ada Conference, held in Paris in May 1985, The conference brought together European and North American experts on the Ada programming language to examine issues associated with the general conference theme of Ada in Use. The papers cover a wide range of issues, including application to data bases and distributed systems, debugging and evaluation, design methods and implementation tools, and Ada language issues and education. The authors bring to their discussions perspectives from both academic institutions and industry, making the volume as a whole of interest to a wide range of users of the Ada language. The conference was sponsored by SIGAda of ACM with the collaboration of Ada-Europe, the Commission of the European Communites and AFCET. The book will be invaluable to all computer scientists who are interested in the Ada programming language and wish to keep pace with international developments in its use.
