Description and Table of Contents

Description

This book is a collection of references made about Blake, taken from his contemporaries' letters, advertisements, essays and journals which have been found in the 20 years since "Blake Records" was published in 1969. The information includes references to his trial for sedition, to his musical ability and to his wife's letters. There are comments about Blake concerning what was taken to be his madness and further evidence of R.H.Cromek's duplicity in dealing with his illustrations for Blair's "Grave". The book is annotated and indexed.
