Description
The comparison of prices, output and income has been a topic subjected to intense research over the last two decades. This book is a compilation of chapters by the most distinguished researchers in this field, presenting their work in different areas of the world, covering both theoretical and applied aspects, and representing its most current developments. This combination makes the book interesting for both theoreticians, practical economists and statisticians. In addition, the topic is increasingly being considered by functionaries of international bodies, and by government staff and researchers in the countries increasingly involved in the expanding interdependence of the world economy.
