内容説明

This is a collection of texts devoted to Eliot's life and works. Most of the articles were originally published in "The Southern Review" in 1985, 20 years after Eliot's death. This book combines memoirs, critical pieces by 37 contributors and a previously unpublished lecture by Eliot himself, and offers a collective re-evaluation of his life and writing.
