In June 1985, two months before the third Review Conference, the influential Geneva-based Groupe de Bellerive, chaired by Prince Sadruddin Aga Khan, convened a colloquim attended by leading advisers to the superpowers, representatives of the Third World, and eminent scientists, strategists and politicians. In an unofficial setting, they were able to speak more freely than at the following diplomatic conference. This book records their proceedings.
