Description

This book gives an overview of the School- and Higher Education-System of the Federal Republic of Germany: Structure, Data, Development. The enormous increase of applicants to Higher Education caused the necessity of restricted admission. The book deals with the legal instruments of Numerus Clausus. Furthermore it informs about the basic principles of Higher Education Planning by the States and Federal Government. The Appendix provides texts from the Federal Higher Education Framing Law of 1976 and the full text of the leading decision of the Federal Constitutional Court of 1972.
