内容説明
This book seeks to shed light on maritime boundary delimitation by examining it as a process and focusing upon the role that "relevant circumstances" have come to play within it. It discusses the far reaching implications for the economic well-being and political relationships of states. The first section looks at the conceptual basis of seabed jurisdiction and the historical development of delimitation criteria. The second section presents an extended study of the features and factors most widely canvassed as being relevant to continental shelf and EEZ delimitation and seeks to evaluate, as far as possible, their actual role and status.
