Description and Table of Contents
Description
This volume has been based on the proceedings of a conference organized by The Institute for Computational Fluid Dynamics of the Universities of Oxford and Reading, in association with The Institute of Mathematics and its Applications on Numerical Methods for Fluid Dynamics, held in Oxford in March 1988. The conference brought together mathematicians, engineers and other scientists in the field of computational aerodynamics and computational fluid dynamics to review recent advances in mathematical and computational techniques for modelling fluid flows. The three main themes treated in this volume are numerical algorithms, grid generation techniques and unsteady flows. This book is aimed at research workers and graduate students in numerical analysis, fluid dynamics, aerodynamics, applied mathematics and computer science.
