Description and Table of Contents

Description

This is a book on how to conduct qualitative research. There are some excellent books on specific qualitative approaches, especially participant observation, insightful personal accounts of researchers in the field, and treatises on the theoretical underpinnings of qualitative research. Yet these do not provide those unfamiliar with qualitative methods with an adequate introduction, an overview of the range of different approaches, and guidance on how to conduct a study. This book is intended to do these things.
