Description
This textbook provides an up-to-date account of ethnographic research methods. Using examples from many social science disciplines, the author introduces: paradigms used in ethnography, field work, equipment needed, analysis of data, differences and similarities between qualitative and quantitative approaches, the nature of the environment of contemporary ethnographic research, and writing the report.
