This handbook lists more than 2000 inhibitors for about 1000 enzymes. It is organized such that the user can search either for an inhibitor of a particular enzyme or for all enzymes which are inhibited by a particular compound. In addition, it lists Ki-values of effective inhibitor concentrations, the type of inhibition, the source of the enzyme, the substrate for which these parameters were determined, and references. These data are presented for more than 5000 enzyme-inhibitor interactions. This book was compiled for biochemists, biologists, pharmacologists, toxicologists, enzymologists and other scientists actually working with enzymes. With its concise and easily accessible information it helps to plan and interprete experiments effectively and to avoid mistakes due to limited knowledge about the side effects of an inhibitor.
