Description and Table of Contents
Description
The publication of this volume now completes the second edition of Rodd's, the stated objective of which was that it should ``continue to serve as a work of reference for the accummulated factual knowledge of organic chemistry and to give guidance to original sources and other literature for detail beyond its scope. In the latter connection particular care has been taken to refer to the extensive literature now existing in the form of review articles and monographs''. This objective has been clearly achieved. Consistently high standards of accuracy and presentation have been maintained throughout and the work is now established as one of the most important reference works for academic and industrial libraries.
