Description
The proceedings of an international conference held on 5-7th September 1989, at the University of Sheffield. IPCM '89 explores the optimization of reinforcement adhesion for mechanical properties and environmental resistance of composite materials. Areas covered include interfaces in carbon fibre composites, fibre-matrix adhesive bond determination, micromechanics of adhesion testing, interfaces in polymer matrix composites, metal matrix composites and interfaces in ceramic matrix composites.
Table of Contents
- Surface characterization of carbon fibres, J.B.Dennet (CNRS, France)
- surface analytical techniques for studying interfacial phenomena in composite materials, J.E.Castle (University of Surrey, UK)
