This collection of papers presents views and research results on long waves and on life cycles and illustrates the causal relationship between these two processes. The authors include leading researchers in the field and managers from industry who have tried to apply the knowledge on life cycles and long waves in business decision-making and who describe the factors that have to be taken into account. The papers contain a large amount of data in condensed form which convey the long-term dynamics of underlying processes.
