Description
This new edition of a standard text in colorimetric (now photometric) trace metal analysis provides expanded coverage of current analytical methods. Part IIB extends the survey begun in Part IIA covering methods for determination of metals ranging from Magnesium to Zirconium. Each chapter consists of three major sections: separations, methods of determination, and applications. The separations sections will be of particular interest to workers who make final determinations by photometric methods (ie, molecular absorption of fluorimetry) or by other methods. The sections devoted to methods of determination present generally applicable procedures and critical reviews of recent developments. The final section examines selected procedures and critical reviews of recent developments. It also examines selected procedures for important materials and includes tables which summarize many other useful photometric applications. The text has been designed for analytical ch

Description
This book treats procedures for the determination of aluminium through lithium. Strontium, a section included in calcium in the third edition, will be a separate chapter in the 4th edition. An effort has been made to keep to the aim of the previous editions of presenting a limited number of useful methods. Revision of magnesium through zirconium will require another several years. The chapters on aluminium, antimony, arsenic and bismuth have also been thoroughly revised.
