Description and Table of Contents

Description

This book gathers the finest ever collection of metamorphic rock photographs. Divided into two sections. Section One includes photomicrographs of a wide rangeof rock of different chemistries metamorphosed under a variety of physical conditions and in different metamorphic settings. Section Two deals with textures characteristic of metamorphic rocks. In all it contains over 250 colour pictures, accompanied by short descriptions and discussion, making this the most visually attractive of all the companion volumes.
