内容説明
Recent analyses of the relationships between cognition and emotion based upon experimental studies of human subjects have tended to proceed in virtually complete isolation from data and theory derived from work with animals. Partly as a consequence of this isolation, such analyses have had little contact with relevant biological or neurological research. The articles in this special issue of Cognition and Emotion aim to redress this balance. They present a number of diverse, but related, points of view on the neurobiology and neuropsychology of emotion, cognition and their interface. The contributors are all distinguished scientists who are actively involved in both empirical and theoretical research in this field.
