内容説明

This atlas provides guidelines for the accomplishment of superior results in modern aesthetic abdominoplasties. Since the introduction of the liposuction techniques in 1983 the surgical concept of abdominoplasty has dramatically changed. As a consequence, more pleasing aesthetic results are obtained with smaller scars. To obtain this result it is necessary to use liposuction with different approaches to the classical abdominoplasty techniques according to the deformity of each patient. This consideration is fully integrated into the concept of this new work. The book includes analysis of the patient, the preoperative measures, the classification of the problems and the planning of the surgery. It also mentions preoperative classification and results of surgery, as well as possible complications and how to avoid them. It lists definitions of aesthetics of the abdomen necessary for setting goals for procedures and it includes the specific techniques used by the authors.
