The speakers are from various locations throughout the world and the main theme is the optimization of visual search. They were given, respectively, by Professor C.G.Drury of SUNY in the USA, Professor C.W.Eriksen of the University of Illinois and Dr E.Persoon of OPR in The Netherlands. Approximately 40 of the shorter papers are also included, as is a summary of the conference workshop.
