内容説明

This cultural anthropological study argues that in reformed Protestantism the Catholic custom of making pilgrimages to sacred places has been replaced by the custom of "reunion", in which scattered members of a family or group return each year to their place of origin. It should be of interest to social anthropologists, and students of American history, American studies and religious studies.
