内容説明

Adult learning rests on individual interest and initiative. It also emerges from a particular kind of society at a particular moment in its history. This study explores the nature of the motivation that moves men and women to return to school or to seek involvement in organized learning activities. It examines the concept of social participation and its implications for a reinterpretation of adult learning, setting work in the context of society at large and its major functions.
