Validation, verification and testing are important yet difficult to achieve for any software product, and for knowledge based systems there are additional problems. This book looks at some of the tools and techniques currently in use and under development. It covers current research and implementation issues such as judging quality, use of interactive concept learning, estimation of failure potential, incremental knowledge validation, object-oriented process specification and maintenance.
