内容説明

The authors have based their experiences and results of ecosystems simulation in the Northwest and Alaska Fisheries Center in Seattle but its application is universal. They take a synthetic look at the total marine ecosystem showing ways of utilizing all accumulated knowledge about it and how to apply this knowledge in the quantitative simulation of the ecosystem for the evaluation of fishery resources and their management by modern methods. This therefore is a useful manual for ecosystem simulation, fisheries research and management, as well as a valuable textbook on the marine ecosystem and its processes.
