Description

Behavioral Medicine is a newly integrated discipline and it is anticipated that it will serve as an indispensable tool in clinical medicine and public health, as well as in basic human sciences. The Twelfth International Symposium of the University of Tokyo (Todai) was aimed at exchanging state-of-the-art information on ongoing studies in the following areas of Behavioral Medicine: psychoneuroimmunology, cardiovascular reactivity, work stress, acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS), international health, new health indicator and other major topics. A total of 47 papers are published in this proceedings volume, all of which were reviewed by an international group of scientific peer-reviewers.
