Supercritical fluid chromatography (SFC) and supercritical extraction (SFE) are new and powerful tools for all branches of analytical chemistry. These methodologies are now being transferred from research into routine laboratories, in the fields of environmental chemistry, biochemistry, drug research and food chemistry.
