内容説明
Software metrics techniques are being used increasingly by organizations wishing to improve the quality of the software they develop and the efficiency with which it is produced. The practices described in this book are methods which are being used to implement software metrics successfully in companies in Europe and the USA. The authors present these methods in the form of case studies supported by tutorial material which will be of interest to people introducing a metrics programme into software project management, and to those wishing to improve an existing metrics programme. Material in this book has been developed from work carried out by the PYRAMID research project, a collaborative research project funded by the European Commission under the ESPRIT II programme.
