Description and Table of Contents
Description
By combining vignettes of the Gulf War with discussions of its consequences, this book opens up a debate concerning the true military and geopolitical lessons of the conflict. The book incorporates the testimony of the inside players during the crisis - the people who actually planned and fought the war. The authors challenge the emerging conventional wisdom regarding the conflict by disputing what they see as incorrect lessons of the war. The book closes with recommendations for future US policy.
