Description and Table of Contents
Description
At present many books are available which detail the OCCAM language and parallel processing with the transputer, but hardware aspects have been relatively neglected, with information only available in the form of datasheets and application notes. Assuming a knowledge of conventional microprocessors, this practical book uses real design examples to provide the engineer with a detailed knowledge of the transputer, from basic concepts through to system design and testing. The book features comprehensive coverage of all aspects of the transputer system hardware design and gives clear explanations and real design examples. It includes details of the T9000 second generation transputer and also contains programming examples in OCCAM and C programming languages.
