内容説明
Current Issues in Biomechanics provides an interdisciplinary approach to the study of human motion. The book illuminates many non-traditional research paths for biomechanists and provides discussions on broad topics in biomechanics, including cellular and tissue mechanics. The book is divided into three parts: Part I presents applications of biomechanics to the different sport and clinical aspects of locomotion and industrial lifting. Part II addresses cellular and tissue biomechanics - specifically ligament structure and function, the dynamic nature of bone, and skeletal muscle mechanics. Part III reviews research in neuromotor elements of biomechanics and considers measurements of neuromuscular mechanisms.
