内容説明

This volume aims to provide the reader with comprehensive, systematic and effective information about pitfalls in the histopathologic diagnosis of malignant melanoma by highlighting a range of pitfalls in histopathologic diagnosis of malignant melanoma and instructing them in a method that enables pitfalls to be avoided. The method utilizes repeatable criteria for the histopathologic diagnosis of melanocytic neoplasms of all kinds, based on features of their architectural pattern, particularly their silhouettes. Proper use of this method is demonstrated in an introduction that establishes firm repeatable criteria for benign and malignant neoplasms of melanocytes.
