The report of a committee appointed by Education Ministers in 1991 to review the current provision of environmental education in Further and Higher Education in England and Wales. It states that FHE has an indipensable role to play by providing: specialist courses leading to specifically environmental qualifications; "updating" courses for those already in the workforce; and environmental education for all students, whatever their specialist subjects of study.
