内容説明
Over the past decade, there has been a considerable interest in the UK in measures for assessing performance in the public sector, driven by the industrial models of the private sector. Moves to develop indicators about school effectiveness and performance have been initiated by the need to make public institutions, such as schools, accountable. This edited collection has drawn contributors from the UK, USA, Australia and Europe from the lead thinkers in those countries. Contributors to the OECD Indicators Project provide a focus on international education comparisons.
