内容説明
This book is designed as a comprehensive introduction for students needing a physical grounding in anatomy and physiology. The book aims to give students an understanding of the human body, using a self-learning approach with questions and answers at every stage. "Understanding The Human Body" covers the entire anatomy and physiology of the human body, including separate chapters on the skeleton, the blood, the heart and all the body systems. In addition, there is a chapter on microbiology and disease to help students understand microbes and the basis of disease. An appendix on disorders contains tables organised by body system and disorder, giving students a quick reference to diseases, their aetiologies and symptoms.
