内容説明
This study examines the types of mental health problems that homeless people are likely to present and how these problems are exacerbated by their economic condition. It offers several approaches and strategies for effective intervention. It is a practical guide which sensitizes practitioners to the needs and bias of the homeless vis-a-vis mental health personnel, and deals with street peoples' stress, pressures on clinicians with such clients and reasons why the homeless generally avoid contact with mental health establishments.
