内容説明

This manual sets out to teach students and researchers how to translate complex tabular data into more readable graphical form through the use of relatively non-mathematical techniques. Using a course format, augmented with tables and diagrams, the book aims to provide a practical knowledge of correspondence analysis. The book is divided into twenty modules, each one listing the essential items to be taught and dealing with the material step by step. Topics covered include scatterplots and maps, reduction of dimensionality, optimal scaling, symmetry of row and column analyses, biplot interpretation, analyzing multiway tables, homogeneity analysis, ratings and doubling and stablity of maps. Each module concludes with a summary of the main points.
