内容説明

Each year 200,000 children attend accident and emergency departments in hospitals and 750 children die as a result of accidents. This book looks at how accidents happen, identifing measures to decrease childhood accidents. The main injury problems experienced by children in Britain are highlighted and are compared with other countries. Particular attention is paid to those areas meriting greater remedial measures - how products can be improved, how the environment can be changed, educational needs and teaching responsibilities. This book is designed to be of interest to nursery nurses, health visitors, parents, teachers and playgroup leaders.
