Developed from a symposium sponsored by the Division of Carbohydrate Chemistry at the 206th National Meeting of the American Chemical Society, Chicago, Illinois, August 22-27, 1993, this volume discusses the production of polymers from sustainable and renewable agricultural resources. It includes overviews discussing the rationale and the status of the technology used to produce degradable polymers.
